At Victory Leisure Homes, one of our most popular optional extras is external cladding. With that in mind we have put together a quick guide of everything you need to know about choosing the perfect finish for your leisure home or lodge.

Leisure Home Cladding Options

Leisure home exteriors are generally made from traditional aluminium cladding, which does an excellent job of weatherproofing your leisure home. We use this as standard on all of our leisure homes (the exception in our 2017 range being the Grovewood Lux which comes with Artefoam uPVC cladding as standard). All of our leisure homes come in a cream colour, but you can also choose the popular environmental green which is great if you want your leisure home to blend into its surroundings.

The next level of upgrade available for our leisure homes is Carafax uPVC foam cladding. As well as providing improved sound proofing, insulation and durability to your home, this cladding looks extremely modern and is available in two different finishes (Deep Grain or Artefoam) and a wide range of colours to suit your own personal style. It is also maintenance free.

Alternatively, you could choose to upgrade to our popular Canexel cladding (see swatches below). This is a wood effect composite material. It is produced from wood fibre resin wax fused under pressure and finished with paint and sealer. As well as providing an extra level of insulation and fantastic durability to your leisure home, this is a low maintenance option gives an authentic wooden effect to the exterior, and is available in a range of colours to give it that personal touch.

Lodge Cladding Options

At Victory, our lodges come with low maintenance cream PVC-ue cladding as standard (apart from the Provence which comes with Canexel Sand as standard). These give a great modern look and fantastic level of durability to your lodge.

We also provide a range of other options for your lodge exterior. The first is Canexel cladding - a wood effect composite material that is produced from wood fibre resin wax fused under pressure and finished with paint and sealer. As well as providing an extra level of insulation and fantastic durability to your leisure home, this is a low maintenance option gives an authentic wooden effect to the exterior, and is available in a range of colours to give it that personal touch.

Finally, for a really unique look and the ultimate luxury finishing touch, you could choose genuine timber cladding. This will come with all the knots and varying grain patterns characteristic of wood and will require regular yearly maintenance.
