We’re driven by the belief that holiday homes can be done better. And this is as true today as it was in 2019, when we evaluated the market and realised it was time for a change.

Across the board, holiday home design had become stagnant, every model looked the same and we believed that parks and holidaymakers deserved better. So, we set out to create a new model that was more of a ‘home from home’ rather than a traditional ‘caravan’.

So, we got to work bringing it to life

We pivoted our design and construction approach in order to be the change. This pivot came in the form of Novus.

Novus is a bespoke construction method we developed in-house to create holiday homes that stand apart. By harnessing the latest in innovation and new technology, every step of the process has been improved from the ground up, to create products that are better designed, better engineered, and that stand the test of time.

Complemented by insights from across the Victory team, we used Novus to create our flagship model: the Lakewood. A first-of-its-kind holiday home for all the family.

Launched in early 2020, there are now more than 1,000 Lakewood models in holiday parks across the UK. It’s our best-selling holiday home, ever. And it’s easy to see why.

The Lakewood features:

• A statement master bedroom that you might find more in keeping with a boutique luxury hotel 
• A walk-wardrobe with full length mirrored doors
• Naturewall feature wall in the master bedroom 
• A second bedroom with full size single beds 
• A huge open plan kitchen, dining and living space
• Contemporary interior design, never seen in the holiday homes market before 
• Front French doors and a Velux window, flooding the space with natural light
• Integrated appliances and a handleless kitchen design

Not only is it our best-selling holiday home, parks across the UK are also reaping the benefits of the disruptive model. The Lakewood is now known for yielding some of the best return on investment for holiday rentals, making it the must-have model.  

So, what’s next for the Lakewood?

We recently developed a brand new three-bedroom option for the Lakewood.

This new layout measures 43ft x 14ft. It’s everything you know and love about the Lakewood – with the addition of a third bedroom. It now caters for every member of a growing family or for your additional guests to enjoy. Get ready to staycation in style and comfort!

Coming soon: The brand new 2024 Lakewood

As market leaders and innovative disrupters, we don’t stand still.

The Lakewood will be getting a revamp for 2024 (launching in July), retaining all the key features you know and love about the model layout.

The interior design scheme will be given a makeover to reflect new and emerging interior trends.

Updated fabrics and soft furnishings will be introduced in both the living and bedroom spaces and some additional options for seating.

We’re really excited to give our flagship model a makeover. And we can’t wait for you to experience it.
